One of the things we love most about living and working in the West Valley is that there is always something fun to do, and Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale keeps getting better.
Team Minik recently spent some time at Chicken N Pickle at Westgate, and what a fun experience! We got out on the courts, played some pickleball, laughed, competed a little (okay, maybe a lot) and enjoyed time together outside of the office.
If you haven't been to Chicken N Pickle yet, put it on your West Valley bucket list.

Chicken N Pickle - Glendale is much more than a pickleball facility. It's designed as a social destination where you can play, eat, relax and spend time with friends, family or coworkers.

It's become a true West Valley entertainment destination where you can easily spend an afternoon, an evening or an entire weekend.

There's something for almost every age and interest. Catch a movie at AMC Westgate 20, play games at Dave & Buster's, paint your own pottery at As You Wish Pottery, test your skills at Escape Westgate, enjoy live comedy at Stir Crazy Comedy Club or play a round of putting at PopStroke.
Sports and concerts are a huge part of the Westgate experience too. State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, sits right next to the district and hosts major sporting events, concerts and special events. Desert Diamond Arena brings concerts and entertainment right into the heart of the area.
Come hungry
You could visit Westgate over and over and still find somewhere different to eat. The district has everything from casual bites and sweets to sit-down restaurants, sports bars and nightlife, including Yard House, Buffalo Wild Wings, Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, Bar Louie, State 48 Funk House Brewery, Café Lola, Caramba Mexican Food, Cold Stone Creamery, Crumbl Cookies and many more.

Enjoy the outdoors, too
WaterDance Plaza features a Bellagio-inspired dancing water attraction with music and lights, and it has become a gathering place for concerts and large community events. Fountain Park has an interactive splash pad that's especially fun for families with younger children.
Westgate currently hosts live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, and hundreds of events throughout the year, including community celebrations, sports-related festivities and seasonal activities.
Why We Love the West Valley
Days like this remind me why I love calling the West Valley home. As a Realtor, I spend a lot of time talking about bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and home values.
But choosing where you live is about so much more than the house itself. It's about the lifestyle surrounding it.
Glendale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park and the surrounding West Valley communities continue to offer more places to eat, play, gather and make memories. Having destinations like Westgate and Chicken N Pickle right here in our backyard is another reason the West Valley is such a fun place to call home.
And I have to say, spending the day playing pickleball with Team Minik made it even better.
