Joel is the COO and a proud partner at Team Minik, a full-service real estate company based in sunny Goodyear, Arizona. But don't let the job title fool you — he's just as comfortable walking land parcels as he is walking clients through spreadsheets.

A graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, Joel earned his degree in Sociology and Communications, giving him the perfect mix of people skills and strategic thinking. He kicked off his real estate career in Portland, Oregon, where he teamed up with a developer to help transform raw land into thriving single-family neighborhoods. Hundreds of acres, countless blueprints, and a whole lot of dirt later, he was hooked.

Joel's journey eventually took him to Arizona in the late '90s, where he dove headfirst into hard money lending, short sales, foreclosures, and tax lien investments — long before they were trendy. He's bought, sold, flipped, and financed it all, gaining deep knowledge in both the real estate and construction industries along the way. He even served as a commercial construction estimator and project manager to sharpen his builder's eye.

Today, Joel brings that full-circle expertise to Team Minik, where he runs the financials, manages software systems, and keeps the business running like a well-oiled machine.
